FAQ

1. Where does the money go?

Sales of our products are reinvested back into our programs and the continued development of our women. As a nonprofit, we are funded by generous donors and large grants. Please see our Annual Report to get up-to-date information on our impact and work.

2. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Your order is fulfilled from our warehouse in New Jersey or by our staff in New York, USA. 

4. For International Customers:

Nomi Network does not provide return shipping for international orders and is not responsible for any additional fees associated with return shipping for exchanges. All out of USA shipping is charged a flat fee of $30. 

5. What if my package encounters issues?

If there is an issue with the delivery of your order, please contact us and we will contact the carrier. Nomi Network is not responsible for shipping delays or lost/stolen packages.

6. Can I track my order?

Upon the fulfillment of your order, you will receive an email with your tracking number. You can also sign up for automated order notifications through Facebook Messenger before and after checkout. Once you opt in, you’ll also be able to chat with us directly if you have follow-up questions about your order.

7. Is it possible to rush ship? 

We apologize, but rush delivery is not currently available on our site. Please make a note about receiving your goods by a certain date when placing your order, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

8. What is the return policy? 

Due to our core mission of providing economic opportunities to women who are at risk and survivors of human trafficking, we do not offer refunds. However, if you received damaged/incorrect goods, please notify us within 14 days of receiving the item so that we can process an exchange for another item or issue store credit. If you would like to exchange due to an adjustment of size/color, the shipping costs for the returned item are the responsibility of the customer. 

9. Do you offer gift purchases?

When placing your order, please include a note specifying that your purchase is a gift so that any pricing information is not included in the shipment. We currently do not offer any gift wrapping or personalized messages, however, please include any and all details in Order Notes and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
If you would like to give a dollar amount for your gift, we have gift cards available for purchase ranging from $25 - $100. A code will be emailed to your upon payment of this item, and the dollar amount will be available for any future purchases on this site.

10. Where else can I purchase Nomi Network products?

We currently do not have any brick-and-mortar shops that carry Nomi Network products, however, we often participate in pop-up shops in the tri-state area of NY. During the holidays, you can always find us at the Union Square and Columbus Circle Holiday Markets

11. How do I know the material is really recycled/repurposed?

We work with certified partner organizations that have regular contact and site visits with the company that provides the recycled bag material. Our cotton is certified organic and remnants of collections deemed unusable due to minor defect or blemishes. The metal we feature is made from recycled bullets and bullet casings. We go through strict systems that ensure our materials are locally sourced and/or ethically made so that we not only help our women and their families but the communities and villages they live in. We are also a Fair Trade Federation Member.

12. What size of t-shirt should I order?

Our size runs a little bigger than American Apparel, commonly used for logo tees in the US market. For each apparel item, we provide you our model height and the size of the shirt they are wearing.

13. How do I best care for my Nomi product?

16. Will my email be used for marketing purposes?

Unless otherwise selected at checkout, Nomi Network only collects email addresses as a means of communication regarding orders. If you would like to receive additional information about Nomi Network, you can join our mailing list.

17. Is my credit card/personal information secure?

All orders and sales completed on the Nomi Network website are encrypted and secured. Unless flagged by our systems, we process orders as accurately and safely as possible.

18. What are the legal terms?

You agree, as a condition of use of this Nomi Network website, to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Nomi Network Inc. and its members, managers, investors, officers, employees, agents and the assigns of same, from and against any and all loss, costs, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses), claims, damages, liabilities, and other injury related to or associated with your use of this Nomi Network website and any violation of this Privacy Policy by you.

This Privacy Policy constitutes a contract made under and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, USA.

19. What is your privacy policy?

Your privacy is important to us; we work hard to protect your identity, and any information you may provide. The Nomi Network Privacy Policy applies specifically and only to the Nomi Network website, and does not extend to partners named in, or sites linked to the Nomi Network website. Any information you provide about yourself or any organization you represent, either directly on the Nomi Network website or in response to our website, is treated as strictly confidential. We do not sell, rent, lease or share with other entities the information you provide on this site.
