Tentree

As a self-proclaimed outdoorswoman, I love being in it, exploring it, and...preserving it. Join me and tentree as we plant some trees!

From hoodies and pants to hats and bags, tentree partners with nonprofits and other organization around the world to plant TEN trees for EVERY item purchased. As of now, they have planted 9,433,550 trees!

This company believes in Stewardship, Transparency, and Community...meaning they strive to be socially and economically responsible, open about suppliers and manufacturers, and inspire an entire generation to fight deforestation...one piece of apparel at a time!

With a cold breeze coming, I snuggle myself into tentree’s snow, an everyday cardigan made from recycled polyester and organic cotton. I even get a free tree token!

So what does that tree token do and what else does tentree stand for?

  1. Map - You can see those 9,433,550 trees on their map. Read the stories behind those trees, the people who planted them through their purchase, and even the breakdown by country! From Madagascar to India to our very own United States, you can see for yourself the positive change tentree makes.
  2. MyTrees - Using your account, you can track your very own trees from your phone. Even tracking their growth! Learn more about their Tree Registration here.
  3. Safe Planting - They ensure all planting is sourced from the local environment and involve local communities to maintain them.
  4. More than 10 - They even plant more than 10 trees, to ensure that more trees are able to survive and keep growing.
  5. WRAP Approved - They make sure all manufacturers and suppliers promote fair labor practices and safe working conditions.
  6. Minimal Carbon Footprint - By ensuring factories and manufacturers and regional sourced, which…“shrunk [their] overall environmental impact and reduced approximately 15% of the pollution through shipping”.
  7. Partners - This is a team effort, and along with your purchase tentree partners with the following: Canadian Wildlife Federation, WeForest, American Forests, Eden Reforestation, Trees for the Future, and more!

So, find a store near you or shop online, and grow your virtual green thumb!
