#1: Desirability. I can’t tell you how many notebooks I fill with meeting notes, valuable information, and some really bad (but also good) poetry. I am fond of luxury linen covers, gold foil stamps, and color coordinated stationery. It pleases my eye...and of course the eyes of those who receive my notes.
I’m no Dr. Seuss, but I am going to go with the flow and say…
#2: Simplicity. “[Marie Mae] wants to use [their] business as a force for good - and help [their] stakeholders to do the same.”
Finally, what is the result of desirability and simplicity?
#3: Accessibility. Big words and big dreams are great, but action is what moves people. With a simple click of a button, your desire for sustainable products ranging from weekly planners designed, printed, and packaged in the USA to “full-grain Haitian vegetable tanned leather” key rings, you “provide invaluable business training for women and artisan groups around the world”.
I am but one woman, but my success is directly tied to the women in Nomi Network’s programs. When we buy products that give another woman access to education and training, then we as a unit become stronger, better, and brighter.
True sustainability is rising above, and then reaching back down and helping someone else rise too! Americans have so much to be thankful for, and with that thanks...I encourage all other females and leaders of industry to “do good,” “be authentic,” “practice gratitude,” and “lead with integrity” along with Marie Mae.
