Meet Nomi Network
Nomi Network is a leading organization working to eradicate sexual slavery and the trafficking of women. We've created a partnership between the fashion industry and cause-driven, well-designed merchandise made by at-risk women and survivors of sexual exploitation, providing them with fair, sustainable employment opportunities. Supported by people like you, our stylish, high quality products don't just look good, they do good. 100% of the profit is reinvested into training and career development programs for women.
What We Do
Sex trafficking thrives where there are large populations of unskilled workers and few employment opportunities. Nomi Network offers a viable alternative. By providing a link between designers, retailers, and survivors of sex trafficking, we ensure that there is a demand for the products survivors make, not their bodies.
How You Can Help
We believe that a better world is possible. Together, we can start making it happen today.
1: Shop responsibly:
Your purchase brings us one step closer to the eradication of sexual slavery. When you buy her bag and not her body, you:
- Give a job. Nomi Network provides a critical alternative to coercion and exploitation in the sex industry. Each product is made by a survivor or woman at risk of sex trafficking.
- Give a chance. The women who create Nomi products receive competitive wages, medical care, childcare, and other vital services, including the opportunity to continue their education, which empowers them to pursue higher education and achieve career goals. Additionally, 20% of the profit is dedicated to their education and training funds.
- Give hope. Approximately 80% of human trafficking victims are women and girls, some as young as 5. Your purchase helps break this cycle of exploitation by giving at-risk women and girls a real alternative and real hope for a better future.
2: Host a home party to sell BuyHerBagNotHerBody and raise awareness within your friends.
3: Support Nomi Network. Your tax-deductible contribution helps us to continue our work with some of the world’s most vulnerable women and girls. To find out more and to make a donation, visit us at www.nominetwork.org.

Meet Sokha
Sokha was abandoned in a brothel in Kompong Som when she was 14. She was regularly beaten and forcibly injected with drugs to make her compliant. After being sexually abused by a man who posed as her rescuer, Sokha escaped and eventually found work in a garment factory. When the factory closed, now homeless and pregnant, Sokha was referred to a Nomi Network partner by a friend. Through the Nomi Network, Sokha receives the support and training she needs to support herself and her daughter. Believing that her inability to read and write made her more vulnerable to exploitation, Sokha continues to improve her language skills and is studying English. She dreams of a brighter future, buying a house of her own, and providing for her daughter’s education.
